Why we don't ship first-class mail

Why we don't ship first-class mail
Many of our customers order six cords or dozens of cords, and are pleased with our flat-rate shipping prices. On the other hand, some people need just one cord and have asked why we can't just put a cord in an envelope and stick a first-class stamp on it and put it in the mail box.

Unfortunately, first-class mail doesn't include insurance or tracking or proof of delivery unless we send someone to the post office to pay additional fees, which would greatly increase the cost of sending it. When we ship Priority Mail, we get tracking information, and packages are picked up at our warehouse every day.

We realize that $9 may seem expensive to ship just one or two cords. That's why we offer batteries and phone accessories that can be included in the same flat-rate shipping price. Everybody uses batteries, and our prices are right -- even lower than Wal-Mart.
